In the above quote the Society identifies itself as Jehovah’s prophet!  As such they are responsible for the accuracy or inaccuracies of the word that is spoken in Jehovah’s name! For example, the current teachings on what the Society taught about 1914 prior to the dates occurrence is not accurate!

This is a blatant misrepresentation of what the Society taught!  Here in Pastor Russell’s own words are what was expected in 1914.

As you can see that Armageddon was the expectation in 1914, not Christ’s presence, 1878 is what was taught as Christ’s Kingdom power and 1874 was taught as Christ’s presence!

In the above quote from WTS reprints 1914 is listed as the “end of trouble not the beginning as taught now!” And it is taught as “God’s date”!  So here we see the false prophecies as well as there cover ups!  I have heard the society use Proverbs 4:18 to justify false prophecies.  That Bible passage discussed the contrast between a righteous man’s path and a wicked man stating “the righteous man’s is like a bright light getting brighter and brighter”.  This has nothing what so ever to do with Bible truths getting brighter as the Society would have us believe!  Proverbs does have something to say about the so called bright light excuse though!

Many are the false words spoken by the Society.  How about the ones spoken about the year 1925!

These are more failed prophecy that I can not allow an organization that claims to be God’s channel of communication to explain away as human error!  God’s word does not change!  Only man’s word changes, God has stated that He does not change!

I maintain to you with the Bible as proof that it is the Governing Body and not God who has changed to the slander of the Divine name in the Societies stance that they are God’s sole channel of communication!  Lets examine  what the Society said about the year 1975!  I was old enough to remember that fiasco!

The Society here states that “Armageddon is due in 1975 and that the variance of the date is only a few weeks or months but not years.”  News flash it has been 24 years!  Here is another quote from the May 1974 KM.

Here the Society further encourages the 1975 date by praising those who due to the Society’s false statements were selling their belonging and using their retirement to Pioneer during the last months of this system!  What is even worse was the Society’s attitude towards those who believed their failed prophecy about 1975.

Here the Society blames the average JW who believed what the Governing Body said about 1975, saying “the average JW needed to adjust their viewpoint” when just 2 years earlier in the May 1974 KM the Society was praising the flock for serving for the 1975 date they published!
This in not new light, this is evil!

Lets talk a little bit about new light.  Pastor Russell said that “new light does not contradict old light.”

The above quote is from the Watchtower reprints, Feb, 1881  p188.  It is a quote of Pastor Russell and is of interest in light of the fact that the Society does just the opposite of what it’s first president states as new light! For example.  The Watchtower of 7/1879 p 8 says “the Sodomites will be resurrected.”  The Watchtower of 6/1/52 p 338 says “the men of Sodom will not be resurrected.”  The Watchtower of 8/1/65 p 479 says “the men of Sodom will be resurrected.” The Watchtower of 6/1/1988 p 31 says “men of Sodom will not be resurrected.” Live forever 1982 edition says “men of Sodom will be resurrected.” Live forever 1989 version says “Men of Sodom will not be resurrected.”  Both versions statements are found on page 179. Insight Vol. 2 page 985 says “men of Sodom will be resurrected.” Revelation book page 273 says “men of Sodom will not be resurrected.  That’s a lot of blinking new light!  Lets examine more examples of contradictory new light.

Organ transplants are a good example.  Lets see how the Society viewed them in 1967!

So in 1967 the average Jehovah’s Witness could be disfellowshipped for cannibalism if he had an organ transplant.  But wait new light might shine forth!

New light in 1980 people could get organ transplants, ahhhh, to bad for those who died or went blind cause they blindly obeyed the Governing Body.  Does the term Heaven’s Gate Cult ring a bell here gentlemen!  I can’t help but wonder if the Society’s reversal here was due to the age of the Governing Body being about the age people usually need heart transplants?

Let’s look at another example of contradictory flip flops.  The stand on superior authorities.  In the Society’s book Let God be true p 248 the higher powers are said to be “Jehovah and Jesus.”  20 years later in the Babylon the Great book the higher powers in Romans chapter 13 are the World Governments!  The latter view is in agreement with basic Christianity.

I find the Society’s stance on raising children not only unscriptural, but in the realm of child abuse!  The isolating of JW children from non-JW children teaching that non-JW children are all bad association is not only an insulting form of discrimination, but a blatant form of Cult mind control tactics designed to keep the flow of non-Society information to a minimum!  There is no basis in the Bible for not allowing a child to play nonviolent sports after school.  The Society’s stance on birthdays is either blatantly a lie, or a lack of Bible knowledge on the part of the Governing Body!  While still attending at the Kingdom Hall I read Job 1:4 where Job’s children each had celebrations in his own day.  Then read in Job after his kids died and all his possession were lost where Job cursed his own day.  Both references are to birthdays!  Job’s children were the kids of what Jehovah called “an upright and blameless man.”  If the birthday celebrations of his children were wrong Job would not have been upright and blameless!

I wonder how you get around the child labor laws in view of the fact that most JW children are forced into field service and not there willingly?  The children in third world countries are better paid then the JW children!  In fact they are better paid then the mind controlled minions at Bethel too!  How is it that forced labor for a so called God’s organization is not called slavery by you, yet the Society has written articles about the plight of third world child labor who are better paid then the society’s own child labor pool?

While I am proud to say that as a baptized JW I never kept my son from associating with non-JW kids, I am sad to say that I did not allow my son to go to birthdays based on the mind control tactics taught by 12 men in Brooklyn NY.

Gentlemen, do any of you know the real reason why the Society changed it’s policy from a cover price on the publications to a contribution in the united States.  It was to avoid paying sales tax!  To avoid giving Caesar’s thing’s to Caesar!  The Society even defended Jimmy Swaggart in court when the Government went after him for back sales tax!  I thought that JW’s were not to mingle with Christendom!

It has been taught and indeed bragged about by the Society that it teaches the same thing world wide.  Well for one thing the Society does not operate on a contribution basis world wide.

Second is a practice in Mexico that may still be going on today namely that in order to own property in Mexico the Society taught in Mexico that the WTS is a cultural movement and not a religion!  This is another example of how the Society will use lies and deceit to achieve it’s objective!

Another issue involving different standards and teachings from one country to another is the fact that brothers in Malawi were forced to die rather than purchase from the Government an ID card that was the equivalent of a social security card, yet at the same time the brothers in Mexico were allowed to bribe officials to obtain a card stating that they had performed military service and made them in effect army reserves!

Another issue is the years of secret hemophiliac approved blood transfusions when 95% of the JW’s were not allowed to have one!  Also is the recent agreement by the Governing Body to allow Blood Transfusions in Bulgaria in order to be recognized in that country as a religion!  An agreement that they deny and are trying to back out of!

I now feel the need to mention one of the main reasons I am leaving this Organization.  It is the worst of all heresies committed by the Governing Body and that is the deliberate mutilation of the Holy Scriptures, The New World Translation!  First I would like to quote the Society on why they did not publish the names of the so called translators.

Now let us state the real reason why the butchers remained anonymous.  It is because none of them were qualified to translate Greek, Hebrew, or Aramaic!  They were not qualified to translate any of the original languages of the Bible!  How can they claim it is a “Translation” and the original manuscripts are consulted if there was and is no one at Brooklyn qualified to read these languages!  Nathan H. Knorr, Albert D. Schroeder, George Gangas, Milton Henshel and Fred Franz were the Heretics responsible for the worst form of Bible deception in this 20th century!  They were the so called “translators”.  Of them only Fred Franz had any schooling above the High School level, and Franz 1 semester of University learning in Greek was not enough for him to be considered a scholar!  He claimed to be self taught in Hebrew, but while on trial in Scotland for perjury in 1954 he was unable while on the stand under oath to read any of the book of Genesis in Hebrew!  Some scholar!

The placing of the Divine name in the Hebrew scriptures is proper and has abundant proof that the Tetragrammaton was indeed a part of the Hebrew scriptures.  The Greek on the other hand where the Governing Body’s claim to have restored the Divine name is baseless. There is absolutely no supporting evidence that the writers of the New Testament included the Tetragrammaton in their writings.  In fact the evidence shows that the writers of the New Testament did not use the Tetragrammaton!  That the Jewish refusal to use the Tetragrammaton was in effect in Jesus day is proven in Josephus writings which the Society quotes on numerous occasions!  Josephus was a contemporary of the Apostles and  an historian of no small account!

In his works “Jewish Antiquities” he gives the Old Testament history of the Jews.  In this he confirms the practice of not writing the Divine name.  This by itself shows that the Apostles who were observant of Jewish tradition would not inflame a community they were trying to proselytize by going against such a deeply devotional practice!

The evidence the Society uses to support the inserting of the Tetragrammaton is versions dating from the 12 and 14 century AD.  These so called evidences were actually using 3rd century Greek originals as the basis for their version, but the 3rd century originals did not have the Tetragrammaton, instead the used either the Greek words Kyrios, or Theos not the Tetragrammaton!  Since the Society put out the information trying in vain to defend their New World Heresy, new information has come to light in the form of a fragment of the book of John that dates within 25-50 years of the originals that shows no use of the tetragrammaton!  Actually mountains of evidence has piled up against the Society since they first committed the New World Heresy in the 1950’s.

I have also done a comparison of the New World Translation against the word for word English in the Kingdom Interlinear Translations (both 1969 and 1985 versions) and the New American Standard Version.  I was shocked to see that the so called “modern version” the Watchtower Society puts out is not  only inaccurate, but deliberately written to support doctrine peculiar to the Watchtower Society that is not found in any uncorrupted (non-JW) Bible version, and that the New American Standard Version compares favorably with the word for word English in the Kingdom interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures!  I also found variations in the Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures from the 1969 version and the 1985 version.  Both were based on the works of B. F. Wescott and F. J. A. Hort and yet there are noticeable differences in the 2 versions even though they are both based on the same source. The only logical explanation for this is damage control on the Societies part.  The Kingdom Interlinear 1969 version was responsible for a lot of studious people leaving the Watchtower after seeing through the deliberate Heresy committed by the Society!

Gentlemen I am sickened at the way the Governing Body has deliberately inserted Jehovah in place of the Greek word Kyrios to change the context of the word of God from referring to Jesus to referring to something other than what the original writers intended!  At Acts 2:21 we find an example of this where Peter speaking of Jesus says “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  The NWT however reads “anyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”  The word for word English in the Kingdom Interlinear supports Lord not Jehovah, and the Greek word being deliberately mistranslated by the Society is Kyrios.  The Societies excuse for some of these acts of heresy is that the quotes came from  the Old Testament.  This does not hold light in the fact that Peter was referring to Jesus when he used this quote, and in light of the fact that neither Peter, nor Jesus, nor any of the apostles would have made any Jewish converts had they gone against the deep Jewish tradition of their day and uttered the Divine name in public!

In Romans 10:13 the Society shamefully does the same thing to Jesus!  The text is changed in such a way as to change the meaning from Jesus to Jehovah!  The 10th chapter of Romans is clearly about Jesus, yet the Society has inserted Jehovah where it was not before and thus changed the context of the whole 10th chapter of Romans!

Acts 4:12 is another interesting example of the Society changing the context of the Holy Scripture in an effort to support their Apostate doctrines!  The New American Standard Version reads “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”  The key word is “be” save.  The Society renders it “get” saved which is intellectually dishonest of them!  The Kingdom Interlinear word for word English agrees with be and not get!

In John 8:58 another terrible crime against God is committed by the Governing Body. In all reputable translations the passage is rendered “Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.”  The word for word English is in total agreement with this translation.  Jesus was almost stoned by the Jews for this because by their faith He was committing blasphemy due to the fact by the very statement Jesus was making in saying “I am” was an admission that He was the One that lead the Israelites out of bondage in Egypt by Moses.  Exodus 3:14 reads “And God said to Moses “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.”  Jesus statement to the Jews that “before Abraham was born, I am” identifies Jesus as God and this is why the Jews picked up stones to kill Him!  Yet the Society goes out of its way to change the context and meaning of this verse to Jesus saying “before Abraham was born I have been.”  This is a disgraceful thing that those Apostates in Brooklyn known as the Governing Body have done!  It is another act of heresy and intellectual dishonesty!

In the NWT the Translation of John 1:1 is rendered “a God” and up until the 1980’s the Society used Johannes Greber as a reference to this as a proper translation.  Well the Society stopped using Mr. Greber as a reference in the 1980’s due to the fact that it became public knowledge that Johannes Greber used Spirit mediums (demons) in his John 1:1 translation!  The Society claimed no knowledge of this fact, but this is not true!  The Society knew as early as the 1950’s that Greber was a in league with Demons!

Yet after publishing the above statements the Society quoted Johannes Greber on many occasions as an authority in support of the apostate doctrines the Society teaches!  In the Aid to Bible understanding book published in 1971 the Society quotes Greber in pages 1134 and 1669, on 1669 they use Johannes Greber to support their unscholarly rendition of John 1:1.  Also in the Societies books Make Sure of all Things, and The Word-Who is He according to John they use Johannes Greber as an expert on the Rendering of John 1:1.  Here are a few other WTS quotes from the Watchtower favorable to Mr. Greber.

Eventually the Society got busted and tried to distance themselves from Johannes Greber.

The Society is once again dishonest in the above claim by giving the impression that it was not until 1980 that it was aware of Greber’s spirit world claims in helping him translate the Bible, but as you can see I have pulled information from the Watchtower Library on CD that prove the Society was aware long before 1980.  In fact they were aware before they released the New World Translation!  (You know that the materials quoted from the Watchtower Library are authentic and you are aware from your own use of the CD in preparing for your talks that those quotes are authentic Watchtower Library CD quotes taken directly from the CD  and pasted on to my disassociation letter!)

The Society deliberately lies about the true nature of Jesus in their editing of the Bible to fit their odd non-Bible based belief system.  Here is a portion of Questions from the Reader’s.  It is from July 1, 1986 and contains the question and a foot note.  The foot note is of particular interest.

The Society puts in print that Jesus is never called “Ho Theos” in the NT.  This is simply not true!  In John 20:28 Thomas uses the Title “Ho Theos” in reference to Jesus!  The verse in question reads “In answer Thomas said to him (Jesus): “My Lord (Kyrios) and my God! (Ho Theos)  This can be verified by the Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures both 1969 and 1985 versions as well as the Societies Emphatic Diaglott 1942 edition.  This being stated and provable, the above rendering of John 1:1 in the foot note of Questions from the Readers is not in the proper context of the rest of the book of John, especially in light of Thomas’ revelation of Christ’s nature in John 20:28!  If Thomas spoke incorrectly Jesus would have corrected or rebuked Thomas just as Jesus had rebuked Peter when Jesus said to Peter “get away from me Satan.”  If Thomas were wrong on this Jesus would not have kept quiet over something of the magnitude of what Thomas said!  In fact the Watchtower Societies rendering of John 1:1 is an act of heresy as well as intellectual dishonesty!

How come the Watchtower changed it’s rendering of Hebrews 1:6 which reads in the 1970 version of the New World Heresy of the Holy Scriptures (green Bible) “But when He again brings His First-born into the inhabited earth He says: “And let all God’s angels worship him.”  This passage is saying that “God’s angels will worship Jesus.”  But the 1984 edition tones Hebrews 1:6 down by switching the word worship with obeisance in an attempt to water down Jesus role as God!  Shame on the Governing Body!

What’s up with the Societies practice of inserting words in the Bible that 1 don’t belong, and 2 change the context of the passage it has been added to!  For example, Philippians 2:9,10 Reads “There for God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth;” but the Society inserts the word “other”  making the verse read above every other name changing the context of the verse to suit the Watchtower’s undoctrinal teachings!

Shame on the Watchtower Society!  The Watchtower Cult Society does this at Colossians 1:16,17 and 20 also.

Another deliberate mis-translation is John 17:3 in the NWT which I will paste on here from my Watchtower Library.

The verse should read “And this is eternal life, that they may know Thee, the only true God.”  There is a big difference between knowing something or someone and taking in knowledge of something or someone!  Of course the reason why the Watchtower Society words it taking in knowledge is because it makes a fortune selling their publications, so they don’t want you to truly know God because then you won’t need to buy their publications!  They also substitute knowing you (meaning knowing God) with the phrase taking in accurate knowledge.

I could go on to the point where this would become a book, but I think I will wind down to my conclusion at this point.

Gentlemen, and former fellow congregation members, I feel that the majority of the 5.5 million Jehovah’s Witnesses world wide are sincere.  And I keep these poor mislead sheep in my prayers constantly.  I will miss the majority of the friends from both congregations, some of whom I have known for close to 30 years!  I love and respect most of my former brothers and sisters.  I hold no ill feelings for any at either Kingdom Halls.  My animosity is for mainly the Governing Body who deliberately mislead millions of people in order to maintain their power structure!  I believe those who call themselves the faithful and discreet slave class know that they teach false doctrines and are to power hungry to mend their ways.  There is no scriptural proof of the 607 date they profess, nor any archeological evidence to support this date!  The Bible did not say Jerusalem would be desolate for 70 years, it said “the nations would serve Babylon for 70 years!”

In conclusion, if anyone from the Hall wants to visit as friends I welcome that.  I don’t welcome a Judicial  Committee, or any other type of reprimand of myself at my home or over the phone.  I am aware that by the Cult rules of the Governing Body of the Jehovah’s Witnesses that I will probably not be allowed any contact with any of you after your receiving this letter of disassociation.  This practice is said by the Leaders in Brooklyn to safeguard the congregation from dangerous views, but it really is to safeguard the Governing Body so that loss of membership is kept to a minimum!  This said, if I am slandered in anyway shape or form in the Kingdom Hall or by those in leadership responsibility I will take legal action.  This means referring to me as an apostate, or any other defamatory statement made due to my educated decision to leave this Cult!

Those of you who are in leadership positions in this organization will be made to answer for the false prophecies you are actively promoting!  I pray that the body of Elder’s repents and comes to know the true God.  I don’t hold out much hope for the Apostates in Brooklyn who are known as the Governing Body, but I do hope and pray for all of you that you realize that Jesus ransom was for all who exercise faith in Jesus and not just 144,000!
