Emblems used by the Watchtower Society

 

Russell used Masonic imagery from the Knights Templar logo of the Masons as an emblem on the cover of the Watchtower.

1. Jehovah’s Witnesses Proclaimers of God’s Kingdom 1993, pg 88, Has a picture of emblems on Watchtower in upper left hand corner, it’s a cross & crown and a armored knight with two swords.
 


 

Russell used the symbol of the sungod Ra on the covers of his books.

The Egyptian winged disc symbol (the Uatchti), which appeared in Watchtower literature from 1911 to 1920. It represents Heru (Moonlight), an avatar of the Egyptian god Horus. A personification of the daytime sky and sun, some priests claimed he predated his own birth.
